Terms of Service

1. Who we are

BeforeAfterLab ("the Service", "we", "us") is operated by Zhong Hui, an individual seller based in China. You can reach us at support@beforeafterlab.com for anything in these Terms.

By creating an account, paying for a subscription, or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

BeforeAfterLab is a browser-based photo tool that combines two photos into one before-and-after comparison image, GIF or video. The image processing runs on your own device: your photos are never uploaded to us and we have no copy of them.

The Service is provided as-is and may change. We may add, modify or remove features; where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, we tell you before your next renewal.

3. Accounts

You need an account only to manage a subscription. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@beforeafterlab.com if you believe someone else has accessed it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload or process images you have no right to use;
• use the Service to create content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing;
• attempt to bypass the free-tier limits, the sign-in requirement, or the payment flow;
• probe, scan, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• resell or redistribute the Service itself (you may of course use the images you create wherever you like).

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are subscriptions: currently USD 4.98 per week, USD 9.80 per month and USD 59.80 per year, as shown on the pricing page and at checkout. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you pay.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices may change. We give at least 14 days' notice before a price change applies to an existing subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply in your jurisdiction.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In short: duplicate or incorrect charges are refunded in full, and the first payment of a new subscription can be refunded within 7 days.

7. Billing disputes

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact support@beforeafterlab.com with your order number before opening a chargeback with your bank. We answer billing questions within 5 business days and will either correct the charge or explain it in writing. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in the subscription being suspended while the dispute is investigated.

8. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is higher, to buy a subscription. The free tool may be used by younger people only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

9. Your content and our content

• Your photos and the images you export remain yours. We claim no licence over them, because we never receive them.
• The Service itself — its layouts, templates, code and branding — remains ours. You may not copy or redistribute it.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account if it violates these Terms, is used for fraud, or if payment is reversed. If we terminate without cause, we refund the unused portion of the current period.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill.

Any claim must be brought within 12 months of the event giving rise to it.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced on this page at least 14 days before they take effect, with the date at the top updated. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country.
